Well, wear has this been, for the last, oh I dont know, week?
I’ll get to Jake Arrietta in a moment, who, if you missed it, was workman like, pitching like an ace and getting credit for a win, for once, in five innings of work, against the Reds, of Cincinnatti, who, as is the case, were playing in there home instead of at Wrigley Field, witch is the home field, of the Cubs, but not on this day, in wich the Cubs won, 11-8, by a winning score.
But instead, we should talk about Krist Brient who, with all his hitting, decided that yesterday, was the time he should it; but not the rest of the week, when the Cubs, were NOT winning games;
So which is it, Chris? Do you want to win games, or not?
I think, I know the answer.
Yes, its impressive, what Briant did last night; he hit two doubles (when singles would of been fine) and three home runs, for six RBIs, or, “Runs Batted In,” for short. But wear were all these runs, last week? The Cubs lost six out of seven games, played, yes, six; including three to there rival, the Saint Louis Cardinals, who will soon catch them, for the division, lead;
Instead of spreading those runs, and hits, around, he saved them all for a night, where he coudl make it all about, himself.
He embarised CHris Coughlan, a true Cub, in the fourth inning, so much that Goclan scored before Brient could even have a chance, to drive him in, as a run, with his second home run; what does it say, about a player, when a team mate wont even stay on base and rushes, to score a run, so that their not around to let another player, drive him in?
And what does it say about, Theo Epstein, the general manager, that hes filled his so-called “Team” with players, like this? What kind of “plan” is this, Theo?
His last home run, was the worst; he hit one with no one on base, but, Anthony Rizzo, his overweight team mate, also hit one, right after him; Since he knew that Rizzo was going to also “go homer,” as they say, he should of hit a single, the other way, and played “small ball”, so that Rizzo could of driven him in. But thats not the way Briant things; he only thinks of himself and, selfishly might I ad, which I might, decided to pad his own stats. Yes, the Cubs won last night, but Brient is also the reason they lost six of the seven games, before this;
Before you “Praise, Theo,” which, I should warn, you should be careful of doing, unless you want to be reported, to management; remember: he built this team, and he filled it with players who dont care about the fans, or about winning the right way;
