Attendance Watch: Could this be a record year?

We coudl see huge, record, numbers, of Cubs fans, in the stands, here in Chicago, and Chicagoland;

We coudl see huge, record, numbers, of Cubs fans, in the stands, here in Chicago, and Chicagoland;

Its time for baseball! which means, around here, that its time for the Attendance Watch, witch is were i watch the attendence, and then estimate facts about those Attendance numbers.

These estimates, made in the stands, are facts; i estimate the sections thusely:

Left Field Bleachers, 9,410
Right Field Bleachers: 4,240
Lower Deck, 24,519
Upper Deck, 13,710

From looking at these sections, with my eyeballs, for an “eye”ball test, I can then guess, or estimate, or “geusttimate” the number of people, watching the Cubs, here in Chicago, or Chicagoland, for short;

YES, THESE ARE FACKTS. PLEASE STOP POKING AT ME WHEN THIS IS CORRECT.

Looking at, what the Cubs, announced, verse what I esitmated for the attendance, heres how it brakes down:

Date Announced Cubbs Fans In-House Esitimate
4/11        40,882              51,456
4/13        36,496              23,103
4/14        34,898              28,495
4/15        34,437              34,437
4/16        41,702              38,194
4/17        41,678              70,194

Pretty embiggoning breakdown, huh?

But lets look deeper; why are Theo, and company, or “co,” fudging the attendence numbers that I have factually estimated?

STOP QUESTONING ME. I’M SICK OF THIS AND I WONT DEAL WITH, YOU, ANY MORE;

Using my eyeball test, I can see that the Cubs, accept for one day, do not seem to be reporting the “fans” in the stands, but rather how many “tickets” they believe they of sold;

THIS IS INTERESTING; IF YOU DONT WANT, TO READ, THAN DONT, BUT MANY PEOPLE, FIND THESE FACTS INTERSETSTING;

The Cubs, or “Cubbies”, of sold 495,294 tickets, so far, or 23,143 per game. My in-left-field estimated total 194,193, or, all together, 41,914 on each day, so, the estimated no-shows are 29,040, or, putting it, another way, 5,014 per date. Only the Frasier marathon, on Wednesday, or the replay of Eric Claptons “Crossroads” concert, on TV, kept some people away.

I NEVER, EVER SAID, THESE WERE “FACTS”; GET THAT STRATE;

Now, could the recent closing of are belovd, Seven-11, and the sodas that we are aloud to carry in, be responsible, for the numbers, which are not correct, or are people buying tickets, and than, not coming?

THIS TOPIC IS OF INTEREST, TO PEOPLE; I PRESENT INFORMATION THAT WILL AND IS, OF INTERSET, TO PEOPLE AND THAN THEY READ IT; IM SICK AND TIERD OF YOUR CONSTANT POKING;

Well, it remanes to be see, what will happen of the Cubs this year, and there attendance, or fans, or tickets payd, but I will continue, to offer these helpful, and interesting attendance watches, to see who is coming, or, more importantly, or maybe as importently, who, isn’t;

FINE; THAN DONT READ IT;

1 Response to Attendance Watch: Could this be a record year?

  1. Excellent as always Al. If only the peanut gallery had brains bigger than peanuts they might understand why any of this matters. Also, so when Russell finally gets sent down to AAA and we can trade Baez and some of Maddon’s old t-shirts to the Padres and get a real SS in Alexei Ramirez attendance should increase.
